Fayetteville, N.C. — A car accident in Fayetteville left one driver dead Friday morning, police reported.
A 2008 Lincoln traveling south on Bragg Boulevard crossed the center line about 8:30 a.m. and crashed head-on into a tractor-trailer traveling north, according to Fayetteville police.
Police said Michael Taylor Moore, 20, of the 3300 block of Reno Drive, Fayetteville, was killed.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, identified as Bryan Pierce, 62, of Kure Beach, was not seriously injured, police said.
Drivers headed north on Bragg Boulevard near Blue Street were asked to find alternate routes while emergency crews clean up the scene.
