One dead, one wounded in Clinton shooting
The shooting occurred at about 9:30 a.m. at 413 Vance St., police said. The assailant was seen running from the house, but no arrests have been made.

CLINTON, N.C. — One person was killed Thursday morning and a second was wounded in a shooting in Clinton, police said.
The shooting occurred at about 9:30 a.m. at 413 Vance St., police said. The assailant was seen running from the house, but no arrests have been made.
The victim who died at the scene was identified as Manuel DeJesus Martinez.
Marlon Lobo survived the shooting and airlifted to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. There was no word on the his condition.
No other information, including the victims' identities, was immediately available.
