One dead, one injured in Kinston shooting

One man died and another was injured in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the 900 block of E. King Street in Kinston.

Officers responded to the address at about 3:45 p.m. after getting a call about a fight and shots being fired. There, they found Dajuquon "DJ" Poole, 19, and Tiran C. Farris, 28, both of Kinston, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The men were taken to Lenoir Memorial Hospital and then transferred to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, where Poole was pronounced dead and Farris was listed in stable condition, police said.

You don't have to. Anybody with half a brain is thinking the very same thing.

And I am sure who ever shot them was a legal registered gun owner too.
