RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police were able to use witness accounts to quickly track and arrest a Warren County man suspected in a shooting near the intersection of Fox and Louisburg roads Friday night.

The first call came in at about 9:15 p.m., according to police spokesman Jim Sughrue.

Police found Justin Ryan Lee, 36, lying dead in the road.

They used a description of a man seen running from the scene to find and charge Shaun Lamont Williams, 23, of Norlina.

Williams was taken to Wake County Detention Center where he was charged with murder.

Sughrue said the investigation indicated that the shooting was not a random act.
