One dead in Goldsboro shooting
Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a man whose body was found Friday on a Goldsboro street.
Posted — UpdatedGOLDSBORO, N.C. — Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a man whose body was found Friday on a Goldsboro street.
Goldsboro police said they went to the 700 block of North Virginia Street shortly after noon and found the man lying in the roadway. He was identified as Tony Jermaine Lewis, 42, of the 800 block of West Grantham Street in Goldsboro.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Goldsboro police at 919-735-2255 or Crime Stoppers at 919-222-4230. Crime Stoppers pays cash for tips leading to an arrest, and callers can remain confidential.
