Man dead in Durham stabbing

Homicide investigators spent Saturday morning sweeping a Durham home after a man was stabbed there overnight.

DURHAM, N.C. — Homicide investigators spent Saturday morning sweeping a Durham home after a man was stabbed there overnight.

Officers were called to 1406 Fidelity Drive in Durham at about 2 a.m. Inside, they found Aubrey Parrish, 29, with stab wounds. Parrish later died at a Durham hospital, police said.

Neighbors said Parrish did not live at the home.

Police said they had leads in Parrish's death, but did not immediately release any information about a suspect or suspects.
