— An elderly customer was killed and a store clerk was injured Thursday night after they were shot at a Red Springs convenience store, authorities said.

The shooting happened at about 7 p.m. at Roscoe's Convenience Store, located at 400 North Main Street.

I certainly hope the police do not look for the shooter. Obviously this is a person that has done nothing wrong. If the police locate the shooter, they might once again kill an innocent. We do not want that to happen.

Can't they provide a description of the gunman. Would be nice if we knew what we were looking for!

I just hope the police catch this person, but arrest them nicely and give them milk and cookies.
