Durham, N.C. — Authorities have dropped charges against a man who was accused in the April death of a former East Carolina University basketball player.
Jordan Shlasinger and his twin, Ari, were both charged in the murder of Christopher Turner, who died April 14 after being shot on East Piedmont Avenue in Durham.
The charges against Jordan Shlasinger were dropped after surveillance video verified he was working at the time of the crime, which authorities said happened around 3:30 a.m.
Ari Shlasinger is still charged with murder in the case. He is being held under a $300,000 bond.
