One man died from wounds and two others were transported to Duke University Hospital for treatment, police spokeswoman Kammie Michael said.
Police later charged Tracey Renee Elliott, 24, of Breda Lane in Creedmoor, and Roger Lee Evans, 25, of Midland Terrace in Durham, with murder.
Elliott was being held in the Durham County jail without bond. Police were still looking for Evans, who is known to frequent Bentwood Apartments on Junction Road.
