FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police have arrested one man and are searching for a second suspect in connection with an armed robbery early Friday.

Police said that Cedric Dwayne Capers, 18, of 1113 Turnpike Road, and Terrance Justin Holmes, 20, of 308 Currie St., offered to give a ride to the victim, whom they knew, then robbed him.

Both men were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, and Holmes was arrested Thursday.

Capers remains at large.

Police said that Capers was arrested in 2008 on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer. State Department of Correction records do not show any convictions for him.
