RALEIGH, N.C. — Capital Boulevard reopened to traffic Tuesday night after a water main break shut down a section of the road.

Crews shut down southbound lanes of the busy road at about 9:30 a.m. Monday morning, and City of Raleigh officials said Tuesday that repaving work should be complete by 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Drivers should continue to avoid the area until the lanes reopen.
