— Capital Boulevard reopened to traffic Tuesday night after a water main break shut down a section of the road.

Crews shut down southbound lanes of the busy road at about 9:30 a.m. Monday morning, and City of Raleigh officials said Tuesday that repaving work should be complete by 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Drivers should continue to avoid the area until the lanes reopen.

The sewer main project by the city of Raleigh, which is a complete waste of tax dollars, has now turned into a water main project. Hope the bungling goofs don't get the two mixed up. of course it is the city of Raleigh.

Wasn't there someone recently who had a plan to turn Capital into a Venice style canal? Hmmm.
