FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Several roads will be closed Sunday morning for the All-American Marathon that begins in Fayetteville and ends in Fort Bragg.

Officials said Saturday that they will close portions of the following streets for the race for security reasons: Normandy, Capron, Bliss, Dupont, Randolph, Armistead, Scott and Alexander.

The race, which begins at 6:30 a.m. in Fayetteville's Festival park, winds through downtown, past the Airborne and Special Operations Museum and through the heart of the military post.

Several streets near the Festival Park will be closed to traffic Sunday morning, including Ray Avenue, Hay Street and a part of Person Street.

Sunday's events include the full 26.2-mile marathon, a 13.1-mile half marathon and a 5K.
