<b>MORRISVILLE, N.C.</b> — Authorities found a suspicious item Friday morning on the outskirts of Raleigh-Durham International Airport that turned out to be illegally dumped trash.

The item was found off of Globe Road near a security gate around 7:30 a.m. during a routine patrol, officials said. An RDU spokesman said the trash looked to be a collection of household containers.
