Joe Lee Carver, 62, was last seen at 1308 Lane Street in Raleigh. Authorities said he was wearing a dark navy blue coat, beige pants and white shoes.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A Silver Alert issued Monday morning for a missing Raleigh man who may be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment has been canceled.

Around 8:30 a.m., officials with the Raleigh Police Department announced that Carver was found safe.

Carver is described as black with short black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

Police said Carver requires daily medication, which he does not have with him. Authorities do not know where Carver is headed.

Anyone with information about Carver's whereabouts is asked to contact the Raleigh Police Department at 919-996-4459.
