Obama to visit Charlotte on Wednesday

— President Barack Obama will visit Charlotte on Wednesday.

The President was last in the Queen City in 2014 to attend the national convention of the American Legion.

He is scheduled to speak at about 2:30 p.m. to a gathering of women in media about working families issues at ImaginOn, an educational library and theatre arts center.

    Yep, he sure does. He's a power-mad figure who wants nothing more than total world domination...through...socialism? And a Kenyan birth certificate somewhere? Sorry, I can remember what half-baked childish reason he's a dictator this week. I'm sure if I listen to my radio it'll come back to me and then I'll be all foamy at the mouth with you, you betcha.

    Ironically, it was the [progressive/liberal] Republican Dewey who said in 1944: "Four terms, or sixteen years, is the most dangerous threat to our freedom ever proposed." Dewey was also an advocate for the "Eastern Establishment", a group supported most of the New Deal social-welfare reforms enacted during the administration of FDR.

    We'll remember Dewey as the guy who lost to Truman. There are iconic photos of Truman holding up the Chicago Daily Tribune with the headline reading "Dewey Defeats Truman".

    Someone really needs to inform him of the 22nd amendment. He truly thinks he is a dictator.
