Obama to visit Asheville after State of the Union speech

print friendly

President Barack Obama will visit Asheville next Wednesday to discuss issues addressed in his annual State of the Union speech, which he will give Tuesday night.

Obama will speak at Linemar Corp. in Arden. The company makes precision metallic components and systems for the automotive, energy and industrial markets.

He has visited Asheville three previous times. He campaigned there in 2008, returned for a vacation two years later and spoke about jobs at the Asheville Regional Airport in 2011.

Disabled Veteran, he is the President of all of this country so if he is in NC or Washington he is still at home. By the way, where was Bush when the towers and the pentagon was hit? Do you think he should have stayed home also?

"Because staying home and working on important things like the national budget just ain't that important. Hold tightly to your pockets and purses NC! There will soon be a crook amongst us!"-disabled veteran

Many are already among us. Concentrated in the State Capitol and the governor's mansion. Not working on a budget or jobs but instead waving camera wands and stomping on the unemployed.

If he can't get anything done in DC, he may as well travel. And as long as he stays west like Ashville, he won't bother us too bad down east.

But, he was like Bill Clinton always wanting to come to Morehead, well,..that's different.

Visited Asheville 3 times...hmmm...how many times has he visited Ft Bragg or Camp Lejeune?

More campaigning...why doesn't he stay in DC and see if he can help Harry Reid pass a budget...

Or here's another idea...work on a realistic solution to the sequester cuts...

I'm so tired of our President of Propaganda...
