Not Guilty Plea Entered in Torture Case

Fayetteville, N.C. — A local man pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges he imprisoned and tortured women in his Hope Mills computer shop.
Floyd Lee Cahoon, 44, of 2935 George Owen Road, faces six counts of first-degree kidnapping, 10 counts of first-degree sexual offense, one count of first-degree rape, three counts of assault inflicting serious bodily injury and one count of assault by strangulation.
Two women told authorities they were kidnapped and locked up for several days at a business, where they were raped and tortured.
Cahoon also has been charged with 11 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor in connection with materials found on a computer seized during the investigation.
