Northern low pressure to refrigerate NC
A low pressure system squatting over the Great Lakes region will refrigerate North Carolina all week, keeping high temperatures in the 30s.

The mercury on Tuesday afternoon will register about 10 degrees colder than on Monday and will push low temperatures into the 20s through the rest of the week.
"We'll just have a steady flow of cold air coming right out of Canada, ushered into North Carolina," said WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner. "It's going to be this arctic blast with us for a few days, and another one for the weekend."
The coldest day of the week will be on Sunday when the high temperature is only 31 degrees and the low could be as cold as 15 degrees.
Skies on Tuesday will be mostly overcast, Gardner said, with a few possible breaks for sun. Those cloudy skies could also drop a little precipitation in different forms.
"When the overcast rolls through, every once in a while there may be a sprinkle or a flurry," Gardner said. "Nothing that's going to cause you any travel problems."
