From Kris Jenner’s legendary (and star-studded!) Christmas eve bashes to Khloe’s surprise birthday party just last night, it’s no secret that the Kardashian family knows how to throw an unforgettable party. The Kardashians’ commitment to epic party planning doesn’t overlook celebrations for the younger members of the family. Case in point: North West and Penelope Disick had a “Moana”-themed birthday party this weekend that basically brought the movie to life.

North, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, turned 4 on June 15, and her cousin/BFF Penelope, daughter of Kourtney Kardashian and her ex-husband, Scott Disick, is set to turn 5 on July, so the timing was perfect for a joint celebration.

The girls and their friends got decked out in flower leis, leafy crowns, swimsuits, and Hawaiian-inspired costumes for the tropical extravaganza, which included entertainment from hula dancers, a petting zoo, and characters from the beloved Disney movie. Based on the photos shared to various social media accounts, cuteness levels were off the charts.

North even got in on the hula action with some adorable dance moves of her own.

The party was a blast for the grown-up attendees as well. Kourtney posted some photos on her Instagram of her and her friends enjoying an inflatable surf board and indulging in all the “Moana”-themed fun of the day.

The only person who wasn’t thrilled with the party? Rob Kardashian’s daughter, Dream, who was snapped crying in a selfie with Kourtney.

Hopefully the Kardashians are taking notes on Dream’s reaction to take into account when they plan her first birthday party this November. No “Moana” theme for her.

Although knowing this family, no matter what the theme or occasion, any party is sure to be a memorable one.
