Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh transplant Rodney Robledo is a seasoned hair stylist and makeup artist who sought to fill a void in the local beauty industry market by creating a therapeutic “hair spa” salon concept. Located in north Raleigh, the Robledo Studio offers a list of beauty services ranging from haircuts to makeup applications.
Unlike the loud and busy salons one typically visits, Robledo sought to create a studio that is peaceful and calming.
“I want my clients to be able to relax and just forget all their worries while they’re at my salon,” Robledo said.
Upon entering the studio, therapeutic scents of lemongrass, calming grey walls and soothing music helps to relax clients for their appointment.
All hair and makeup services are tailored to each individual’s specific needs.
“Many other salons treat their businesses like a mass-production line. They expect their stylists to treat every client the same, even when it’s not right for them. I want my clients to have a personalized experience so they can leave my salon feeling confident and taken care of,” Robledo said.
Hair services offered at the Robledo Studio include cutting, treatments, styling, color and clip-in extensions. Bridal services are offered in-house. Rodney Robledo can also be booked for commercial and editorial needs. Alterna haircare products are used at his studio. Robledo also offers makeup applications, lessons and false lash application.
With a resume that boasts education from Bumble & Bumble, Aveda and Oribe Canales (founder of Oribe haircare and celebrity hairstylist), Robledo has had years of experience and training. He has worked on many fashion, television and editorial projects. His credentials include accolades from Angie’s List and IndustryWire.com.
