No injuries reported in Raleigh house fire; 2 displaced

Raleigh firefighters worked quickly to tame a house fire that occurred early Monday morning.

RALEIGH, N.C. — No injuries were reported Monday morning when fire tore through a Raleigh home.

Raleigh fire officials received a call at about 6:30 a.m. that a home at 4306 Bay Rum Drive was on fire.

According to Chief Alan Wilson of the Raleigh Fire Department, the home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene. The firefighters worked quickly to tame the flames and protect surrounding homes from serious damage.

Two occupants escaped the home with no injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
