No injuries reported in Durham bank robbery

Durham, N.C. — Durham police are investigating a Friday morning bank robbery at a Wells Fargo branch on West Main Street.

Officers responded to the bank, at 2000 West Main St., about 9:30 a.m. after receiving a call about a robbery. No one was injured in the incident, police said.

Durham police are searching for a man in his 40s or 50s, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a light-colored jacket, dark pants and a hat.

E.K. Poe Elementary School, at 913 9th St., was briefly locked down when police responded to the area, Durham Public Schools officials said.

Anyone with information about the robbery should call Durham police at 919-560-4935, extension 29415, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.

The bank robber fled to this house on 1116 Iredale. Can these churches just setup shop anywhere? Without a permit? Without an announcement to the community that, sorry you just paid $500k for your house, you now live next to a child molestor, rapist, bank robber etc!

Here we go again, the left winged liberal WRAL media, continuing to not report the FACTS about a crime, the pictures appear to be a black male, I guess you guys did not see that and put it in your description of the suspect. WTVD did???
