No injuries reported after wreck sends debris onto Fayetteville highway

Several cars were damaged early Friday after a car hit a portion of a bridge over the All American Freeway in Fayetteville and sent debris onto the highway below.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Several cars were damaged early Friday after a car hit a portion of a bridge over the All American Freeway in Fayetteville and sent debris onto the highway below.

The wreck happened at about 1:30 a.m. when a car hit a guardrail on the Yadkin Road bridge. Four or five cars were damaged by debris that fell onto the All American Highway and had to be towed from the scene.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Both roadways reopened early Friday morning.

No information about the cause of the wreck has been released.
