No charges in collison that killed Selma man
An SUV driver who hit and killed a man at 923 Crocker St. early Wednesday told authorities that the man was lying in the street.
Posted — UpdatedSELMA, N.C. — Troopers in Johnston County said no charges have been filed against the driver who hit Kenneth Alan Neumyer Jr., 36, of 408 Godwin St. in Selma, early Wednesday.
Neumyer had been drinking and passed out in the road, troopers said. Walter Brown Hall III, 56, of Raleigh was driving an SUV when he hit Neumyer at 923 Crocker St. around 2:30 a.m.
Hall told authorities the victim was lying in the street.
