No changing zip codes on Coupons.com

Coupons with scissors

Coupons.com has removed the option to print coupons from other regions using various zip codes.

CouponsInTheNews.com reported on Friday that Coupons.com, and their affiliate sites like the Smart Shopper coupons link, are no longer offering the option to enter in various zip codes to see what printable coupons are available in different cities and states.

You can probably still go into your settings and manually change your address to see other coupons in different areas, but that is far more time consuming than the zip code box that was available on their home page.

As the CouponsInTheNews article mentioned, they may have made this change so regional coupons remain in the region where they were intended to be used.

Regardless, it does change the availability of the coupons. What do you think?

To find the state that matches the zip either google the zip code or go to usps and look up a zip code.

    Thanks TJ84 and Labs! :)

jdouglas13, If you have an account with coupons.com, you go to the top right of the screen where the down arrow is and sign in. Then go to My profile and edit the state and the zip code for the change you want to make. The state for 77477 is Texas. You have to know the state that the zip code goes with or it won't let you change it.

i have many problems printing coupons. I can only print off internet explorer and can only print most coupons from coupons.com. Need to get rid of the viruses. Try internet explored for printing Smart Source. good luck

I'm really sorry to hear this. I have no clue how to go about changing the settings either in order to change the zip code. :(

On another note, I am unable to print from Smart Source any more. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm surprised it took them this long to do it. I know that having people use coupons from different zip codes messed up their marketing data, since they do the coupons to test out marketing ideas NOT to help us poor shoppers :-) Of course, being able to get the good coupons from other zips sure helped us out a lot, but oh well, another one bites the dust!!!

luvstoQ - they had planned to roll out their "full digital coupon program" in January but it has not happened yet.

    TJ84 - I agree.

Noticed that a few days ago when I was printing some coupons. There are 'always' more coupons for 77477 - wonder why? Oh, well, always will be changes.

Reminds me, thought HT's online Q's had a change planned for Jan. '16. Maybe I misunderstood their plans.

It's just less savings available for us in the coupon world. Sometimes you could get better coupons using a different zip code. Can't say I like this at all....
