Flooding in and around Forest Hills Park Durham

These stills and the video were shot around East Forest Hills Blvd. in Forest Hills Park, Durham, just upstream from Rockwood and the mess around Nana's. Third Fork creek is allowed to backup into the city park here routinely causing flooding in both the park and neighborhood private property, including mine. An undersized culvert that goes beneath S. Roxboro Rd is to blame, but keeps flooding minimized further downstream at the Durham City Maintenance facility built in the floodplain of Third Fork Creek.
