Christmas parade marks start of holidays
An estimated 60,000 spectators lined on the streets of downtown Raleigh under sunny but seasonably cool skies to cheer bands, floats and the arrival of Santa Claus.

Wake County holds flu vaccine clinics for children
Lines were short and supply plentiful at three Wake County H1N1 vaccination clinics Saturday. With children on the "high-priority" list, the county offered the nasal vaccine Saturday for healthy kids ages 2 to 18.
