Posted — UpdatedCHAPEL HILL, N.C. — As he tours the schools and universities across the state, the new chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is blogging about what he finds.
Chancellor Holden Thorp began his tour Monday at Chapel Hill High School. He will pay visits to groups of high school students, his fellow UNC campus chancellors and Carolina faculty and students.
He'll finish his tour Monday in his hometown of Fayetteville, with a visit to his alma mater, Terry Sanford High School
Thorp will be installed as chancellor on Oct. 12, which is University Day.
