Tickets Available for Obama's Thursday Town Hall Meeting

In Raleigh, Obama will speak at the Kerr Scott Building. Tickets will be available -- on a first-come, first-served basis -- beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the campaign office at 130 E. Morgan St.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama plans to campaign in North Carolina on Thursday, talking to voters in the Raleigh area and in Greenville.

Obama's campaign said the U.S. senator from Illinois is scheduled to attend a town hall meeting in the Raleigh area, then go to Greenville.

In Raleigh, Obama will speak at the Kerr Scott Building on Blue Ridge Road at 11:30 a.m. Admission is free to the public. Tickets will be available -- on a first-come, first-served basis -- beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday at  the campaign office at 130 E. Morgan St.

The Greenville event will be held at East Carolina University’s Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. Doors will open at 4 p.m. No ticket is required to attend the event. Admission is based on a first-come, first-serve basis.
