ASHEVILLE, North Carolina — Evangelist Billy Graham continues to improve in his recovery from pneumonia, hospital officials said Sunday afternoon.
Mission Hospital spokeswoman Merrell Gregory said the 93-year-old Christian leader is also progressing in his physical therapy program at the Asheville hospital. He is walking more in a private corridor outside of his room.
Graham has suffered from several ailments in recent years. He was admitted to the hospital Wednesday night after suffering from congestion, a cough and a slight fever that was later diagnosed as pneumonia.
Graham was visited by family members on Sunday. No discharge date has been set. .
