The Wrap @NCCapitol (July 3, 2014)

After 28 amendments and two days of sometimes tense debate, the state House has finished work on its version of a bill to regulate coal ash ponds throughout the state. Like many items left on the General Assembly's agenda, it is likely headed to a conference committee to work out differences between the House and Senate. Also in the wrap this week: an update from Thursday's late night House action, news on a candidate withdrawing from a Wake County state Senate race, and following up on one of last session's most controversial bills a year later.
