Walter H. Dalton

Work experience: Managing partner, Dalton and Miller law firm, 1975-2008
Political experience: N.C. Senate, 1997-2009; N.C. Lieutenant Governor, 2009-present
Family: Married to Ann
Education: Bachelor's degree from Catawba College, 1978
Work experience: Various management and consulting positions with Duke Energy, 1979-2008; Moore & Van Allen law firm, 2009-present.
Political experience: Charlotte City Council, at-large member, 1989-95; Charlotte mayor, 1995-2009; N.C. governor candidate, 2008.
Family: Married to Tom, three children
Education: Bachelor's degree from Pfeiffer College, 1975
Work experience: Homemaker; co-founder of THEA, a homeschool support group; various local and regional administrative positions with La Leche League.
Political experience: U.S. Senate candidate, 1998; N.C. governor candidate, 2000, 2004; chairwoman, N.C. Libertarian Party, 2000-05, 2007-11.
