New Dalton ad hits McCrory on education spending

Walter Dalton appears in a new television ad where he directly criticizes his Republican rival.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Lt. Gov. Walter Dalton goes on the offensive in his latest campaign ad, saying that his Republican rival in the race for governor supported deep cuts for education.

The ad is notable because Dalton spends a lot of time on screen (near a big hole) directly criticizing his rival, rather than leaving the attack ads to outside groups. 

Update: The video appears to have been taken down from YouTube. Several wags noted on Twitter that Dalton's team spelled McCrory's name wrong (they dropped a C) in display text on the screen.
