Pittman once again gets attention for Planned Parenthood remarks

Raleigh, N.C. — In January, Laura wrote about Rep. Larry Pittman, R-Cabarrus, who said doctors who provide abortions should be hanged. 

Pittman is once again in the news for abortion-related comments. The Winston-Salem Journal is carrying a report on its website that the first-term lawmaker said Planned Parenthood practiced "murder for hire." From the piece:

Pittman’s emailed reply charges that Planned Parenthood “deals out nothing but deception, death, personal devastation, and moral degradation. Never will I agree to give that bloody, indecent, immoral organization one penny. I will not be satisfied until it is outlawed.”
