Crossroads spends big in NC to defend Romney

Conservative superPAC American Crossroads is spending big in NC to defend Mitt Romney.

The 527 announced today it's made an $893,000 NC ad buy for a new attack ad titled "Smoke," blasting President Barack Obama for his negative ads against the GOP candidate.

Romney has been on the ropes for more than a week over allegations relating to his tenure at Bain Capital, and for declining to release his tax returns for years preceding 2010, despite calls for their disclosure from leading conservatives.

Romney's campaign has been trying unsuccessfully to redirect the debate. The new ad by American Crossroads is meant to lend a hand.

"What happened to Barack Obama?" says the ad's female narrator. "The press and even Democrats say his attacks on Mitt Romney's business record are misleading, unfair, and untrue - blowing smoke."

The ad accuses Obama's campaign of attacking Romney because the president "can't run on" his record.

Crossroads says the new ad will run for eleven days in nine swing states, including NC. The total ad buy is a whopping $9.3 million on broadcast TV and internet.

How much does producing a newscast cost? Crossroads has a lot to compete with. Of course, I'm not dissing WRAL's newscasts...other newscasts help perpetuate lies as news.

All this noise about Romney and Bain is getting tiresome. Obama has no record of his own on which to run--nothing-nada--zip-zilch..same as he had when campaigned for president the first time. After over 3 years in office HE STILL has no record of success at ANYTHING except FAILURE, and yet in his delusional arrogance, he expects the people to accept his version of the "improvements" he has led or caused, and wants 4 more years to COMPLETE the job.. How his arrogance shows through is evident when he makes fun of Romney's call for an apology for an attack ad that the media, including the Communist media, and even his own people say is inaccurate and full of falsehoods. The Communist media simply flat out called Obama a liar. Yet, he continues to run this kind of ad, and EXPECTS people to believe him for no other reason than the fact that he IS OBAMA. Any man with this kind of delusional messianic omnipotent, omnipresent omniscience is clearly living in a different reality and is a dange

Our President cannot run on his accomplishments as he has not one accomplishment that has better the lives of everyday Americans. It is a joke so therefore he goes off on Mr. Romney and hopes that the people will focus on his faults and not the President's.

The people are not going to buy into this and they are not going to keep swallowing the same line for another four years.
