Bev in wonderland

Raleigh, N.C. — Gov. Bev Perdue stopped briefly to chat with reporters after this morning's Council of State meeting.

Asked about North Carolina's appearance on the Colbert Report last night: "I don't know about you all, but when I continue to watch what's going on in North Carolina, I feel like I'm in Alice in Wonderland...It's like being in a different country." 

On Tillis' stimulus comments: "I think the stimulus money was critically important to the country at a time of high risk. Now we need to push forward and stop talking about the past and focus on the future and how we put people back to work. I wish the Speaker would do that." 

On her involvement in attack ads targeting Pat McCrory: "There is a wall that the law requires. So, none of us on this side of the DGA wall have anything to do with the ads, the content, the distribution nor the decisions."

Well, mz. bev, it would have been wonderful if you had been a half decent governor. I don't think you have ANY room to talk about what someone else does.
