Hood addresses Obama picture controversy

Last week, a blogger for the John Locke Foundation caused a controversy by posting a picture of President Barack Obama in bondage gear. The blogger apologized and resigned over the incident.

This morning, John Hood, who heads the foundation, addressed the controversy in his daily column:

"It would be difficult to imagine a more revolting depiction of the president of the United States. It would offend virtually anyone who saw it, regardless of one’s race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or political ideology. It would have been embarrassing for such an image to appear on anyone’s blog for any length of time. Unfortunately, it was on the site for two days – from Monday evening to Wednesday evening, when it was first brought to my attention by a reader (thanks, Andy).

"I was horrified, outraged, and very sorry that I hadn’t seen it much earlier. The image was immediately taken down, but the damage was done. Whatever Tara’s intentions may have been, we simply don’t publish or condone that kind of thing. But embarrassment isn’t the only damage I mean."

Well, the words your minioins use to describe their opponents paint the same sort of Picture, so why dont all you who would speak clean up you language and manors.

What was published was no worse than what the liberals did to any Republican president before.
