A spokeswoman for Gov. Pat McCrroy says a remark made during a 2008 campaign debate was a plea to uphold ethical standards, not a bid to limit the service of campaign donors.
North Carolina will sell a Cessna Citation Bravo Jet and Sikorsky helicopter used by state officials and job recruiters. They will be replaced with "newer, more cost-effective aircraft," according to the Department of Transportation.
