A proposal to require health insurers to offer the same coverage for oral and IV cancer treatments has passed the state House, but not without a major change to the terms.
State House lawmakers tentatively approved a proposal Wednesday that would ban insurers from charging more for oral chemotherapy than IV chemo.
A bill that passed a key House committee Tuesday would tighten rules for NC Pre-K, roughly halving the number of 4-year-olds eligible for the state-funded program.

The House on Wednesday approved legislation to require physician supervision of any nurse providing anesthesia during a medical or dental procedure.
