Lt. Gov. Dan Forest says home-school parents should deny entry to state officials seeking to review records. The Division of Non-Public Education said this month it would select five home-schools for random site visits.
The state Department of Public Instruction used 12 boxes of paper to print out material related to the Common Core standards. Forest described his questions as being "dismissed."
