Gov. Pat McCrory told a Charlotte radio station Monday that the key to a tax deal last year - a sandwich-fueled lock-in at the state Capitol - might be the trick to getting a budget deal done this year. He also left open the possibility that he would advocate for expanding Medicaid to cover more people in the future.6
