The NC State Fair folks have announced the super secret performer for the Wednesday performance at the Fair. The performer is country singer Rodney Atkins, whose Web site is at http://www.rodneyatkins.com/ .
Though the announcement has been made, the tickets for the concert will not go on sale until Wednesday, September 10. They'll be $11.50.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to call my Mom again and break the news that it wasn't Trace Adkins.
