2006 State Fair Midway Op to Be Revealed Tomorrow
Triangle Business Journal has a brief article noting that the new midway operator for the 2006 State Fair will be revealed tomorrow. This time the contract is for 3 years, not 1. The story also notes that Wade Shows is one of the bidders. Wade Shows ended up shelling out over $4 million to be the midway operator this year, but some of that was penalties for not having the midway rides ready on time. Stay tuned....
