Cupcakes, indoors and out

The outside option is called Kimmy's Cupcakes. You can't miss it. Its exterior is really, really, really pink. Here you'll find cupcakes shaped like hot dogs ($4), cupcakes  shaped like ice cream cones ($4) and even cupcakes shaped like popcorn ($5.) We had a cupcake shaped like a hot dog, with vanilla cupcake and chocolate frosting for the dog part. Very tasty.

The inside option is BlueBird Cupcakes. These cupcakes are unique not in their shape but in their flavor. All the cupcakes were $3 and the prices included Pumpkin Spice (Pumpkin spice cake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting),  Strawberry Waffle (strawberry cake, lemon buttercream, vanilla waffle, whipped cream, and strawberry syrup), and Caramel Apple Spice (spice cake with Granny Smith apple filling, caramel buttercream, and caramel syrup). They have to-go boxes as well. Unfortunately mine (I tried a S'mores cupcake) suffered a mishap on the way home which is why  the picture is not very appealing.

Which one should you get? They're more complementary than competitive, I think. Kimmy's Cupcakes are artistic in appearance and also taste good. BlueBird Cupcakes are artistic in taste and also look good. I think kids will more appreciate the novelty of eating a cupcake shaped like a hamburger, while adults will more enjoy the flavor combinations of Bluebird.

Hey, you can try one at each booth for a total cost of $7. That's less than a turkey leg!
