Over three days at the Republican National Convention, WRAL News has spotted several celebrities, big-name media professionals and influential politicians.
On Wednesday evening, as he headed to the Tampa Bay Times Forum to make his speech before Republican delegates, Sen. John McCain passed us on the escalator.
Actor Jon Voight visited the media workspace on Wednesday and posed for a photo with a star-struck WRAL.com web editor.
Photographer Pete James spotted "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks in the hallway of the Tampa Bay Convention Center.
In the line for a media shuttle from the workspace to the Tampa Bay Times Forum (the convention site), we spotted longtime ABC News anchor Sam Donaldson.
Political consultant and Durham native David Gergen and FOX News anchor Bret Baier were spotted in the hallway of the Tampa Bay Times Forum before the final night of the convention kicked off Thursday.
We've also seen Mitt Romney's eldest son Tagg Romney, former Bush adviser Karl Rove, political strategist Ann Coulter, Daily Show with Jon Stewart correspondent Samantha Bee, talk show host Geraldo Rivera, TV One commentator and CNN contributor Roland Martin and CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer.
We'll try to snap photos of all our sightings, so keep clicking on WRAL.com!
