A toxicology report released Tuesday shows that the driver of a car that crashed a month ago in Wake Forest, killing three teens, didn't have alcohol in his system.

The state Highway Patrol said Austin Leonard Flowers was driving his Dodge Challenger at more than 120 mph on June 5 when he lost control at the intersection of Old Pearce and Zebulon roads and slammed into a tree.

Flowers, 16, of Wake Forest, Lane Meyer, 16, of Wake Forest, and Matt Speight, 17, of Raleigh, were killed.

A third passenger in the car, Brenden Pearce, 16, of Wake Forest, suffered serious injuries but has been released from WakeMed.

DUI: Driving under the influence...of testosterone. The most deadly of all impairments.

So, he willingly chose to drive over 120MPH on a 2-lane twisting road with 3 passengers? All this proves is that the driver was a dumb-donkey.

Its media, way of the world. No matter who it involves or what the family is going through...new is news. I hate the media would do that and even more if it hits home, but it is what it is. Sober or drunk no one can control a car going over 120mph. Knowing he wasnt drinking doesnt really matter or make the situation look better....

WRAL....try having a heart for once....you've beat this horse into the ground. Let these families grieve, this isnt one of those "the public must know" things....enough is enough.

hasn't this been cooked already?
