One killed in Durham triple shooting

Durham police believe that one or more shooters rushed into an apartment on Hearthside Street Friday night and shot three men, killing one.

DURHAM, N.C. — Three men were shot in an apartment on Hearthside Street in Durham Friday night, police said. 

Investigators believe that one or more shooters rushed into an apartment at 1214-A Hearthside St. around 10:30 p.m., shot three men and then left, police said.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Duke University Hospital. The condition of both men was stable, police said Saturday.

The victims' names haven't been released, pending notification of family.

Investigators haven't been able to get a description of the shooter or shooters, police said.
