Raleigh, N.C. — Wake County sheriff's deputies arrested a Durham man Friday after they say he left a 4-year-old in a car with the windows up on a hot day, according to arrest warrants.
The warrants allege that Clifford Maurice Goggans, 24, left the child alone for more than 30 minutes in long-sleeved flannel pajamas.
Goggans, of 2319 S. Roxboro St., was charged with misdemeanor child abuse and driving while license revoked. He was being held in the Wake County jail on a $5,000 bond.
No other information was released.
