Raleigh police charged a man with sexually battery Saturday after they say he touched a sleeping woman.

The arrest warrants state that David Octavio Mendoza-Vasquez, 31, of 3625 Brentwood Road, touched the woman's crotch several times while she was asleep "for the purpose of sexual gratification."

The woman did not know Mendoza-Vasquez and was staying with his house mate, police noted in court records. They asked for a higher bond due to "the random nature of this sexual offense."

Mendoza-Vasquez was placed in the Wake County jail under an $8,000 secured bond. He was scheduled to appear in court June 1.

Please send him back home and don't waste money on him.

"Have ya'll ever considered that just maaaaybe he told the cops how many times it was? Is it really that out of left field to think she woke up to him touching her, called the police, and in interrogation he admitted to how many times? - pittsboromama"

Do you really think he admitted how many times he touched the woman knowing that each touch could add jail time.

"They asked for a higher bond due to "the random nature of this sexual offense."

Lol... ya Right .... ITS BECAUSE THEY KNOW HE WILL RUN BACK TO HIS HOME COUNTRY. Just like all the rest that come here for a "better life "

They want a higher bond because of the random nature of his crime? Yeah, really random, if you happen to be randomly sleeping in this dude's house. Wake county elects the silliest officials to their public safety department.

LOL...I know he told the cops how many times he touch her..I needed a good laugh this morning...how old are you??
